Mohammad Hassan Emamian has been a professor of Epidemiology at Shahroud University of Medical Sciences in northeast Iran since 2011. He also serves as the head of the Ophthalmic Epidemiology Research Center at the same university. Dr. Emamian obtained his PhD in Epidemiology from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2011 and his MPH degree in 1999. Additionally, he graduated as a medical doctor from Yazd University of Medical Sciences in 1994. Since 2009, he has been actively involved in cohort studies, ophthalmic epidemiology, research related to non-communicable diseases, and addressing health inequality through important public health research initiatives.
