Imran Jawaid is a consultant ophthalmologist at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham. He specialises in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. Mr Jawaid completed his ophthalmology training in the East Midlands before completing a competitive and prestigious fellowship in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Mr Jawaid is dual-qualified as an optometrist as well as an ophthalmic surgeon.
Imran Jawaid has written several peer-reviewed papers and has won prizes for oral and poster presentations at ophthalmology conferences. Alongside this he has presented at local, national and international ophthalmology conferences and contributed to book chapters in ophthalmology.
