Dr Mhairi Day is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Vision Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland, UK.
She has been active in research in the area of myopia for over 20years, with published papers and conference presentations as well as having supervised and examined many PhD students. She is a member of the Myopia Consortium UK.
Mhairi was involved in launching the Myopia Management Clinic at the Vision Centre at the University in 2016, whose patients are a variety of children at risk of progressing myopia. Her research interests include the investigation of the roles of the accommodation response and of pupil size in myopia, evaluation of the effectiveness of myopia management treatments, and the risk factors and risks relating to myopia.
