Doctor of Medical Sciences, specialist in eye diseases, holding both national and European qualifications (Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology). She completed her specialization at the Ophthalmology Clinic of Wroclaw Medical University and at the University of Edinburgh, earning the unique title of Chirurgiae Master of Clinical Ophthalmology with Merit. Beneficiary of an exceptional scholarship sponsored by the Polish School of Medicine Memorial Fund. She is a research and teaching staff member at the Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, and the Department and Clinic of Ophthalmology at the Medical University of Silesia. Member of the international associations ESCRS (European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons), Euretinа (European Retina, Macula and Vitreous Society), Young Immunologist Academy, American Association of Optometry, Royal College of Ophthalmologists, and College of Optometrists. Author and translator of many scientific publications and textbooks, and a speaker at conferences dedicated to eye diseases and contactology. She uniquely combines medical and technical issues, being both an ophthalmologist with many years of clinical experience and an optometrist.
